Our First Vintage on Chandos StreetThe Annata Anniversary Degustation

Annata means vintage in Italian, and this November we celebrate our very first one at 66 Chandos Street. Twelve months ago we opened the doors of our new home in St Leonards. To thank you for filling it with conversation, laughter and many memorable bottles, we invite you to our Anniversary Degustation.
Our host for the evening is one of our favourites, Nick Barlow, who will guide you through ten stunning wine tastings, including four of Australia's finest cuvées matched against benchmark wines from Burgundy, Bordeaux and New Zealand. With every course you will taste an Australian wine beside its rival from the rest of the world, hear the story behind each one, and you can decide for yourself who wins the round. Prizes will be on offer with lots of learning and laughter along the way.
Executive Chef Jordon Garcia's five-course anniversary menu will commence as we raise a glass of Devaux Cœur des Bar Blanc de Noirs; a Pinot Noir Champagne from the Côte des Bar.
The degustation will then unfold with four savoury courses, each teamed with two perfectly matched wines: a decade-old Mitchell McNicol Riesling from the Clare Valley stands beside Domaine Jacques Cacheux's Bourgogne Aligoté; Lenton Brae's Margaret River Chardonnay meets Clos Ostler from New Zealand's Waitaki Valley; Montalto's Tuerong Pinot Noir from the Mornington Peninsula compares against Château de Marsannay Les Favières; and Yarra Yering's celebrated Agincourt Cabernet Malbec closes the reds beside Château Malescasse from Bordeaux's Haut-Médoc. Our celebration finishes on a sweet note with a pour of Sticky Pig Late Harvest Pinot Gris from Wrattonbully.
