Annata invites you to a fabulous dining experience celebrating the very best of New Zealand – Greystone, from the limestone hills of Waipara, North Canterbury. “Arguably New Zealand’s most Burgundian Pinots come from Canterbury” says Jancis Robinson (MW) when commenting on Greystone. Greystone has garnered international acclaim, earning prestigious awards and accolades for their finesse, balance, and distinct regional expression. They have become a benchmark for New Zealand's winemaking excellence. Our timing couldn’t be better because Greystone has just won three more trophies at the 2023 International Wine Challenge (IWC) in London, topping off a long string of awards including NZ Winemaker of the Year 2018 for their own Dom Maxwell. Their renown Thomas Bros Pinot Noir was named best Pinot Noir in NZ three times and once as best in the world at the IWC. It’s on our menu for this very special degustation dinner.
Our host will be Greystone’s Global Ambassador, Stephen McGowan. Executive Chef Jordon Garcia has created a beautiful four-course menu, appetizer and petit fours to perfectly match these eight superb wines from Greystone.
