Marchand & Burch Five-Course Degustation

Join us for another exciting Annata Wine Degustation evening as we learn about an incredible partnership spanning the northern and southern hemispheres. It was 1990 when west Australian winemaker Jeff Burch crossed paths with French winemaker Pascal Marchand in the cellars of Domaine Comte Armand in Pommard. A friendship quickly formed, with a passion for Pinot Noir as its foundation. A decade later they embraced the possibilities of a unique collaboration and began the Marchand & Burch Collection. Since 2007 Marchand & Burch has grown to represent a sophisticated expression of terroir through fine wines produced in Western Australia’s Great Southern region and the Côte d’Or in Burgundy, France. Three decades on, the friendship endures while the wines tell an exciting, evolving story.

This will be another great Annata dining experience, not to be missed by wine lovers.

Our Five-Course Degustation* Menu has been created by Executive Chef Jordon Garcia. His personal interpretation of the wine-tasting notes from these distant iconic regions combined with the produce and cuisines for which they are famous will make for a gourmet sensation. Ten great wines and Jordon’s five-course degustation. What a night!

Hosted by Justin Walters.

Justin is one of our favourite hosts; not only because of his vast oenological experience from viticulture to winemaking and wine tasting; but also, because his outgoing personality makes for a night of great fun and entertainment.
