North Americans have created one of the best “new world” wine regions on the planet, but it can be difficult to experience their wines in Australia. So, the team at Annata has created a superb North American Wine Degustation dinner where you can taste ten of their best wines matched perfectly with sublime cuisine.

Our event will be curated by manager Cisco Ramirez and hosted by wine aficionado, Justin Walters. He has worked across almost every aspect of the Australian wine and hospitality industry, from winemaking, grape picking and pruning, to marketing, and wholesaling. His deep knowledge of North American wines together with a sharp wit and warm engagement style, make Justin the perfect host for another great Annata Dining Experience.

Chef Jordon Garcia will match each superb wine with a fabulous five-course menu based on his interpretation of North American cuisines. There will also be an American snack to start and petit fours to finish.

Justin graduated from the prestigious University of Adelaide Wine Marketing course in 1991. He then studied at the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, London in 1993 completing their “how to teach a systematic approach to wine tasting” programme before establishing his successful wine importing business. Walters has worked across almost every aspect of the Australian wine and hospitality industries, from winemaking, grape picking and pruning, marketing, and wholesaling.
