Join us as we celebrate the classic varietals from the best regions of Australia and New Zealand together with a stunning five-course degustation dinner prepared by Executive Chef Jordon Garcia.
Which region produces the best classic varietal wines?
Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Shiraz
Our wine expert and host Justin Walters has selected the top two regions across A/NZ for each of these classic wine varietals so that you can taste and compare two of the best wines from different regions side by side. Justin will guide us through the regional factors such as climate, soil and winemaking techniques that influence the taste of each wine beyond the grape itself. What a great way to learn about the classics and decide for yourself which is the best!
We will taste ten wines in all starting with a world class Méthode Champenoise sparkling from Piper’s Brook Tasmania served with a delicious snack from Chef. We will then taste two different classic wines with each course before finishing with a multi award winning Semillon Dessert wine from Rylstone NSW.
