The wines of South Africa have a long and fascinating history, dating back to the 17th century when the Dutch first established a settlement at the Cape of Good Hope. Today, South Africa is known for producing a diverse range of wines that showcase the country's unique terroir and winemaking traditions. We will sample some of the best wines from several regions including the iconic Stellenbosch, Breede River Valley, Western Cape, South Coast and Swartland.

Our guide for the evening will be Gary Barber who developed his deep wine knowledge as the National Purchasing Manager for South Africa’s largest premium wine retailer; often working directly with winemaker members of the Cape Wine Makers Guild. He has built lasting commercial relationships with many of the top regional wineries which continue to this day for his South African wine-importing business. He will share his deep knowledge and wine stories as he guides us through our celebration of South African viticulture.

Join us as we taste ten of South Africa’s best varietals and blends in this incredibly special culinary evening. Chef Jordon Garcia has designed a magnificent five-course menu that will be perfectly matched by the wines.
