Tasting Notes

The colour is a deep straw yellow with aromas of pear and white flowers. The palate reflects the nose and is fresh, harmonious and balanced. It is clean and elegant with the marked floral and fruity notes that are typical of this grape variety. It has a lively freshness and is well-balanced and refined.

 The Winemaker

The winery was founded in 2001 by the three young siblings Federico, Balbino Terenzi and Francesca Romana. The winemaker is Federico Terenzi with support of consulting oenologist Giuseppe Caviola. 

About The Winery

Terenzi is a dynamic winery which has risen to the top echelons in the complex and competitively challenging region of Tuscany. They are known to experiment for maximum qualitative and territorial expression. Their vineyards consist of 150 hectares, 60 of which are vineyards and 14 splendid centuries-old olive trees. A 3000 m2 cellar, the beating heart of the winery, was built in harmony with the landscape, but is filled with cutting-edge technologies aimed at absolute quality and respect for the environment. Wine critic Robert Parker of the Wine Advocate says, “Terenzi is one of the most promising new names in Tuscan winemaking.” This is a family owned and operated winery with all production from their own five vineyards. They undertake sustainable agriculture with a strong passion for the land and what it produces.
